Laura's character is supposed to be mentally ill and out partying most nights so her costume needs to reflect her personality.
We chose costumes that would enhance the character.We used scruffy items that were mismatched or uncared for.
Our first choice was the dress to the left but we felt this was too over the top for her decline.
We chose the dress on the right because it was more subtle and added a mismatched hoodie to keep it youthful, but still showing how she no longer cares for her appearance.
