Main Task Storyboard Process & Filming Schedule.

The Storyboard was drawn up by Laura using the 'initial notes' we had previously written.

Storyboard

Page 1 - We begin with a blank screen with a sound of a screeching car, we are unaware as to what is happening as an audience. We then cut to the Boy character getting up and ready in the morning, there is no mention of a crash and no one appears to be hurt so we as an audience are still trying to find a reason for that start.
Page 2 - We now cut to the Girl character getting dressed in much the same way, but to go out at night. The teddy bear used in these scenes is very significant to the rest of the story which is why it is focused on for a lot of the frames.
Page 3 - This is where the story progresses and split screen editing is used for some of the scenes. We see both characters going to the shops at the relevant time periods and buying items. They appear to be in sync with each other but never meet.
Page 4 - The characters cross the road but the Boy is more aware of his surroundings, the Girl is seen crossing and a flash of headlights appear behind her, we then see that the Boy was heading to a grave and that in fact it was the Girl that was killed two years ago.

We will use the Storyboard as a basis for the Directors vision and add to it as we film if new ideas occur to us which may improve the film's overall look.
